The Byzantion company was founded in ***4 by Georgios Ginis as a sole proprietorship. It has been operating in its present legal form as “Byzantion – Antonios Ginis & Co.” since June ***0. The company's headquarters and production unit operate in Aigaleo, Attica, at a privately-owned site.


During its course in the Greek and foreign market (Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Italy, USA, Turkey, etc.), the company has been cooperating with the largest industrial companies in the field of hand-made religious and tourist folk art.



In ***4, with great love and respect for tradition, a small family business started making Byzantine icons entirely by hand, under the guidance of its founder, Georgios Ginis.

Using a special process for aging metal, wood, and icon painting, as well as top quality materials, we create unique true copies of old icons, highlighting them as unique works of art.
